Are you on the Right Side?

What is the “Right side of the slash,” and do I fit there?

Do you feel like you might identify as a submissive/bottom/slave/pet or other identity on the “right side

of the slash” in a BDSM dynamic? Join mtn grrl at the Sexploratorium on July 10 th at 6:00 PM. She will

share her journey as a “right sider” in the BDSM community and talk about different types of

power/authority exchange dynamics, negotiations, consent, vetting, safety, and more. There will be

time at the end of the session for questions.

About the instructor:  mtn grrl (mtngrrl on FetLife) serves Master Fox as a 24/2 slave. Their relationship began in 1980, and in

2004 it expanded into BDSM and partnered non-monogamy. Master Fox formally collared mtn grrl on

January 22, 2011. Pronouns are she/her.

mtn grrl believes that our community needs more education for those of us on the right side of the

slash, as well as more educational opportunities provided by those of us on the right side of the slash.

She was blessed to have an experienced submissive take her under her wing at the beginning of her

journey and has endeavored since then to give back to the community as often as possible. She has

served as a mentor to submissives in group settings as well as with individuals.

mtn grrl has been the co-facilitator of the Denver submissive’s Discussion group since 2011. She has

been offering Clothing Optional Yoga classes to the Denver BDSM and nudist community since 2008. She

served as a co-leader for The Inner Sanctum, a High Protocol group. She has served as a volunteer at the

Denver Sanctuary in a number of positions. Teaching is her passion, and she loves directing that passion

toward educational opportunities in our community.
