Herpes

Genital herpes causes tingling and itching sensations around the genitals, followed by painful blisters that burst into open sores. These sores make urinating extremely painful. Flu-like symptoms such as mild fever, swollen lymph nodes, and body aches might accompany the outbreak.


Transmission: Genital herpes is spread through vaginal, anal, or oral sex with an infected person, especially during an outbreak of sores or blisters.


Prevention: Prevent genital herpes by using condoms, avoiding sex during outbreaks, and having a mutually monogamous relationship with an uninfected partner. Regular STI testing can also help manage and reduce the spread of herpes.es.
